Child Protection Guide

We believe that safeguarding is a shared responsibility between the school, parents, and the wider community. We encourage open communication and collaboration with families to create a transparent and trusted partnership. Our policies are regularly reviewed and updated to reflect best practices and current legal requirements, ensuring that our safeguarding measures remain effective and relevant. Together, we can create a secure learning environment where every child feels valued, respected, and protected.

At Metropolitan School the safety and well-being of every student are our top priorities. Our Child Protection and Safeguarding Framework is guided by the Council of International Schools (CIS) standards, ensuring that we uphold the highest levels of care and responsibility. We are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where every child can thrive. Our comprehensive approach includes rigorous staff training, clear reporting procedures, and a culture that prioritizes student welfare at all times. By adhering to CIS guidelines, we ensure that all staff members are equipped to recognize, respond to, and report any concerns related to child safety promptly and effectively. Our Child Protection Officer (CPO) along with campus leadership oversee the implementation of our Child Protection policy, manage reports, and act as the main point of contact for child protection issues.
