School Clinic
Medical Treatment and Medication Procedures
Metropolitan School provides a fully equipped clinic, staffed by a dedicated school doctor, to ensure the health and well-being of our students. The doctor assesses students who are feeling unwell or injured and determines whether they should return to class or be sent home.

If a student needs to be sent home, parents will be contacted immediately. In emergency situations, the doctor may administer medication, but only after receiving parental approval.
Parents will be notified if their child needs to be sent home. In case of an emergency, the doctor may administer medication, but only with prior parental consent.

Emergency Response
In the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as a pandemic or public health crisis, Metropolitan School reserves the right to implement emergency protocols and policies to ensure the health and safety of our students, staff, and community. These measures may include remote learning options, enhanced sanitation procedures, adjusted schedules, and other actions based on guidance from health authorities and our school doctor. We are committed to transparent communication and will keep parents and guardians informed of any operational changes. If a student is dismissed from school due to illness, they must obtain clearance from the Met School Doctor before returning to class.
To pick-up a student early from the clinic after a call from School Doctor
The School Doctor will issue an early dismissal exit slip when a student needs to leave. Parents are required to collect the student from the clinic, along with the exit slip, and sign the student out at the Front Desk. The exit slip, along with the student ID and Guardian Card, must be presented to the gate security personnel upon departure from the school gate. In the event of hospitalization, the respective Principal’s Office and the Met School Doctor must be notified immediately. Medical reports, including an estimated time of return, should be submitted as soon as possible.
