Metropolitan School has been designed by ECG, a leading architect who understands the need to create a stimulating environment for children to learn in. The school is being constructed on a land area of 21,000 m2, located to the south of the Police Academy in New Cairo.
The school buildings will be developed over a foot print area of 6,000 m2 with the remaining area being carefully utilized to provide the children with spacious play-grounds in addition to all the necessary out-door sports facilities.
– Kindergarten: The building was designed to stimulate imagination and creativity and is a unique structure. It is constructed over 2 levels plus a basement, consisting of 10 classes, an indoor play area, a clinic and other administrative offices.
– School: The main school consists of four connected buildings, 2 buildings for the Elementary school housing 30 classes, 1 building for the Middle School with 15 classes and 1 building for the High school with 15 classes.
– Facilities will include an auditorium, an uncovered multipurpose hall, in-door heated swimming pool and learner pool, gymnasiums, library and an indoor multi use sports hall.
