Today in grade 3 Art class we fiddled with some Picasso Cubist portraits. The students followed the steps accurately, et voila 🙌🏼 The project is spanned over 2-3 lessons: 1) initial drawing and coloring 2) fine-tuning and outlining Today’s lesson touched on 2 of the California state standards for visual arts.

Winter Wonderland

Arabic Performance Task
Our first grade students celebrated their learning objectives during Arabic classes. They demonstrated their Arabic literacy abilities and were happy to share it with their parents who also participated in various activities. Last week Metropolitan School Fifth Annual Sports Days took place on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 (Pre-K to Grade 3) and Wednesday, November 13, 2019 (Grade 4 – Grade 8). Where our students rotated through a variety of game stations and competing in a friendly and safe environment.
