This week, fourth graders are learning about plants. Like humans, flowers come in all shapes, colors, and sizes. They learned that they also have male and female parts, which help flowers spread their seeds and make more flowers just like them.
Today, students in Grade 1 have gone in-depth in their study of “lines” to understand their importance as an element of art. They made connections between various elements, including dots, lines, and shapes, and learned about patterns by repeating simple lines to create a picture.
Grade 3 students were using arrays to find the answers to multiplication problems.
