Part of Met’s mission is to ensure that our students are equipped with both a passion for learning and the ambition to make a difference to the local and global communities, thus last week Metropolitan celebrated Chinese New Year to cultivate cultural awareness.
Students got engaged in many different activities during ELA classes, Art, Met Values, and Library sessions. KG2 students did the dragon parade, in Art students did the Chinese red envelopes, during Met Values students did the dragon Also, high school students had the chance to know more about this celebration during morning lines. This is to foster a sense of unity in a diverse world. Tuesday, February 1st, 2022 marks the beginning of the Chinese New Year, the year of the Tiger. We wish you a happy Chinese New Year!
