Elementary students were introduced to the Dewey Decimal Classification system during library classes.  They assessed their knowledge through an activity of placing the correct category in the right hundred. This information is essential for students to understand why books are numbered and how to find the numbers on the shelves, so they can use any library effectively and in a friendly manner.
