“The Met science fair is designed to stimulate student interest in science. Students self-select a topic from any science discipline, and must develop an engineering or experimental project connected to their chosen topic. In addition, scientific information must be organized on a tri-fold display board and verbally presented to judges. During the second half of the day, students complete science challenges in order to earn tickets. Those tickets can be used to purchase preferred activities, which included an inflatable slide and bungee trampoline. Following the science challenges, parents were invited to tour the school and see all of the projects. We extend a big thank you to all parents that were able to come, and all parents for their efforts in supporting their student(s). We are all very proud of our students’ hard work!”
